The New York State Department of Health contracts with Cicatelli Associates, Inc. (CAI) to provide training services for the Office of Health Insurance Programs' Division of Health Reform and Health Insurance Exchange Integration.
As the Health Insurance Training Center for New York State Health Insurance Programs, CAI designs and delivers training and technical assistance on New York State's health insurance programs to the Local Departments of Social Services (LDSS), participants and health plans participating in the Facilitated Enrollment (FE) program, the New York Health Options Enrollment Center (EC), and any other entities that assist individuals enrolling in health insurance. This program offers training in decentralized locations throughout New York State to increase accessibility to training.
Our programs use diverse training methodologies such as classroom training, online learning programs and webinars. We update our trainings to reflect the most recent, evidence-based approaches, as well as to ensure consistency with policy reform and updates.
